Right now these rooms  are empty.

But can you imagine them full? 

Full of music. 

Full of laughter. 

Full of refugee children and adults from all over the world. 

Full of art.

Full of words and songs about Jesus. 

Full of life…

Proskuneo’s heart has always been to see lives transformed and nations come together to worship God. We can’t imagine a better place on earth for that to happen than Clarkston, GA. It is estimated now that in Clarkston, 3/4ths of the population is foreign-born! And these immigrants are literally from all over the world! In a 1.5 mile radius, there are over 60 languages spoken! We have been asked, and we have accepted the challenge to start a Music and Arts School in Clarkston, GA. We will be sharing the good news of Jesus through one-on-one lessons, recitals and performances, and personal relationships. We will be bettering the quality of life in Clarkston through arts education. We will be promoting cross-cultural community. And, in addition, out of the school, we will be forming ministry groups of believers from many different countries who will minister to the people in Clarkston and beyond.

 

Will you imagine with us? In honor of Proskuneo’s 10th anniversary, we are asking people to donate money to help this school get started. We plan to launch in January 2012. In order to do that, we hope to raise $2500. This would include three months rent (3 x $400 = $1200) and the rest of the money will go towards sound-proofing, furnishing, decorating, and purchasing supplies (including musical instruments). Any additional money raised will go towards starting our Scholarship Fund to help under-resourced students attend classes and lessons.
