“…Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven….”
Abraham Deng has been blessed to live in many different countries and cultures, and as a result, he has a keen awareness of God’s desire to bring all nations together to worship Him. Abraham has been a part of Proskuneo since 2004, but he had a Proskuneo heart long before that!
Abraham was resettled as a refugee in the U.S, where he spent time as worship leader and pastor of different Sudanese churches, and eventually became an American citizen. He then went back to his home in South Sudan for five years, as that country was just getting started. While back in Africa, he married Rena Abdelrahman Ali and God has blessed them with two daughters, Joelin & Joy.
Abraham’s unique perspective gives him much to share with leaders and pastors. He has a heart to see God’s people come together in ways that glorify God and honor the beauty God has deposited into each culture of the world. Abraham also desires to help immigrants learn accountability, responsibility, and stewardship that will help families fulfill their potential.
Like each of our staff members, Abraham needs to raise a team of people who will pray for him and give money monthly so he can serve as Worship Leader for Proskuneo. Click here to give a one time or a monthly gift.
